       Dan Beck, is internationally recognized as an authoritative voice and innovator within the music and entertainment industry and has played a crucial role in marketing virtually every genre of contemporary music. As VP of Sony Entertainment Group, Dan played a critical role in launching Michael Jackson's 1995 hit album, "HIStory." During the early 1980's, Beck became one of the initial creators of music videos and pioneer closed captioning to the music video industry. As a nationally recognized advocate for the hearing impaired, Dan launched "The Hearing Aid Music Foundation," and produced "Listen Smart", hearing conservation rockumentary film. Dan is current position is trustee of The Music Performance Trust Fund.

       John Doyle, ESQ. is Secretary of the H.E.A.R. Board of Directors. Hearing Impaired since birth, he is an attorney specializing in appellate and civil rights litigation. His involvement with H.E.A.R. is only one example of the many ways he works with disadvantaged groups.

        Dr. Jerome Goldstein is the Senior Executive Vice President Emeritus of The American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery and a Board of Director of the Deafness Research Foundation, SHHH and Sertoma. He is based in Florida...more.
        
        Flash Gordon, MD, is a primary care physician living in San Francisco. He's now in private practice in Greenbrae, California, and founded Hearing Education and Awareness for Rockers (H.E.A.R.) along with Kathy Peck.       

        Joseph Montano, Ed.D, is Chief of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center. He received his MA degree from New York University, his Ed.D. in Audiology from Teacher's College Columbia University, and is certified in Audiology (CCC-A) through the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). He serves on the New York State Licensure Board and is a member of the ASHA Legislative Council.

         Kathy Peck, H.E.A.R.'s Co-Founder and Executive Director is a Bay Area Musician and Composer (MonimaMusic.com) who suffers from hearing loss and tinnitus aggravated by exposure to loud volume. This has given her the determination to create and manage the efforts of H.E.A.R. to help others at risk to hearing loss. Kathy successfully helped win the first victory for the The American with Disabilities Act in Peck vs UA Theaters resulting in the introduction of wheel chair access and hearing listening device for people with disabilities in its California theaters. Kathy worked to pass the SF Earplug Ordinance that earplugs be made available to patrons at entertainment venues. Kathy was presented with the National Council On Communicative Disorders for Leadership.
