H.E.A.R. (Hearing Education and Awareness for Rockers) is a non-profit organization, serving the community since 1988, founded with the help of a donation from Pete Townshend of the Who.
H.E.A.R. is dedicated to the prevention of hearing loss and tinnitus especially among musicians and music fans. This year H.E.A.R. collaborated with the American Physics Teachers Association on a National Science Foundation project-the Active Physics high school textbook. Additionally, the H.E.A.R. video Can't Hear You Knocking is a required material for the course.
